With an aim to establish a bond between Bangladeshi people and Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs), NRB World (an organization of NRBs) has started its journey. It is a non-profit, non-political and service-oriented organization. The main aim and objective of this organization is to play a role in developing Bangladesh by using talents, skills and investments of immigrant Bangladeshis. Although NRB World is primarily based in the United States, thousands of expatriate Bangladeshi professionals residing in more than 50 countries around the world have joined this network. NRB World is working to bring expatriate Bangladeshi professionals from all countries of the world under one umbrella.
‘দেশ ও প্রবাসের সেতুবন্ধন’- এই লক্ষ্য ও উদ্দেশ্যকে সামনে রেখে প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশী প্রফেশনালসদের সংগঠন এনআরবি ওয়ার্ল্ড-এর যাত্রা শুরু। যা সম্পূর্ণভাবে একটি অলাভজনক, অরাজনৈতিক এবং প্রধানত দেশসেবামূলক সংগঠন। যার মূল লক্ষ্য এবং উদ্দেশ্য হচ্ছে প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিদের মেধা, দক্ষতা এবং বিনিয়োগকে কাজে লাগিয়ে মাতৃভূমি বাংলাদেশের উন্নয়নে কার্যকর ভূমিকা রাখা। এনআরবি ওয়ার্ল্ড মূলত যুক্তরাষ্ট্রভিত্তিক হলেও ইতিমধ্যে বিশ্বের প্রায় ৫০টিরও বেশি দেশে অবস্থানরত প্রায় সহস্রাধিক প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশী পেশাজীবীরা এই নেটওয়ার্কের সাথে যুক্ত হয়েছেন। দ্রুত সময়ের মধ্যে বিশ্বের সব দেশের প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশী পেশাজীবীদের এক ছাতার নিচে আনতে কাজ করছে এনআরবি ওয়ার্ল্ড।
NRB World aims to serve as a pivotal bridge, fostering collaboration and synergy between the Bangladeshi diaspora and Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs), with a steadfast commitment to leveraging their collective talents, skills, and investments for the advancement and development of Bangladesh.
Our vision is to cultivate a strong network that unites Bangladeshi individuals globally, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, resources, and opportunities. Through strategic partnerships and proactive engagement, we aspire to transform the concept of “brain drain” into a powerful force of “brain gain,” driving sustainable progress and prosperity for both NRBs and their homeland.
NRB World is dedicated to achieving three fundamental goals:
1. Empowerment through Education and Training: Provide comprehensive training programs and mentorship opportunities to empower Bangladeshi youth with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their respective fields, thereby enriching the human capital of the nation.
2. Facilitating Employment and Entrepreneurship: Forge pathways for Bangladeshi professionals to access meaningful employment opportunities both domestically and internationally, while also nurturing an environment conducive to entrepreneurship and innovation.
3. Strategic Collaboration with Government and Industry: Foster strong partnerships with governmental agencies, esteemed companies, and policy makers to facilitate the integration of NRB expertise into key national initiatives and projects, driving sustainable economic growth and development in Bangladesh. By steadfastly pursuing these goals, NRB World endeavors to not only strengthen the bonds within the Bangladeshi community worldwide but also to contribute significantly to the progress and prosperity of Bangladesh, thereby fulfilling our collective duty to our motherland.
